Well what can I say, bought a lovely Peugeot 108 from Paul smith car sales Lincoln Ltd's.
What an absolute gentleman! Went to have a look at the car he showed me all around it, also offered to part exchange my old car for me.

First purchased from Paul a couple of years ago and was very impressed with the overall experience. Car was as new and he gave me a decent p/x on my current car. Did all the paperwork for me too including changing the tax, which I pay monthly, over. Recently I decided to change my car and Paul had what I was looking for. Due to previous experience I knew Paul would treat me fairly and I wouldn't have to listen to the normal sales pitch that many dealers give. Plus I've had some salesmen treat me like I'm stupid and talk down to me when I've been on their forecourts looking, never been treated that way by Paul. Once again I got a good p/x deal and everything was sorted for me to collect the new car the following day. A couple of days after purchasing there was an issue with a small oil leak, I sent Paul a message quite late in the evening and he replied straight away saying he would sort it the next day. True to his word he called me the next morning and said he would come and collect the car, take it to the garage and bring it back once sorted. He did just that! The car was collected, fixed and back with me in 3 hours! Amazing customer service which you wouldn't find anywhere else, definitely 5*!

Having searched on Auto-Trader with a definitive criteria, suitable used vehicles included one at Paul Smith Car Sales Ltd. When I rang about it, I spoke directly to Paul Smith who met me and my wife on site the next day. He was extremely courteous and very knowledgeable about the car, which was immaculately clean and tidy. Mr Smith was particularly helpful to my wife in demonstrating the seating possibilities and explaining the dashboard and other controls and functions. An appropriate deal was quickly and amicably agreed, including a three month warranty and a reasonable part-exchange value for our aging car. He maintained an impressively tidy and organised office and completed the necessary paperwork to DVLA and arranged payment of the car road tax for us. When we came back three days later to complete the transaction and exchange the vehicles, he even set up the blue-tooth feature to link my mobile phone to the car's system and also set up our homeward journey on the built-in sat-nav!

I contacted Paul via AutoTrader initially and he was very quick to respond and I must say that communication throughout the transaction was always fast and efficient. We travelled 70-miles to see the vehicle and took it for a good test drive. Although it was 2-years old it was in showroom condition and has met all my expectations. Paul gave me a very fair value for my previous car and organised the details for both cars with DVLA from his office, allowed me to use his PC to modify details with my insurance provider and sorted out Road Tax at his local Post Office. Paul gave us really good help and advice when we bought our Zarira from him. Unlike some other dealers the cars on his forecourt are spotless inside and out with them all looking as good as each other. He specialises in good condition in low mileage exmotability vehicles so they have all been properly serviced having the keys and books with them. One of the good things was he arranged for the transfer of our personal number plate to the vehicle plus progressing the other DVLA online paper work on our behalf. Another good thing was he did not try to push any extras which some of the larger dealers seem to push onto the price. There is parking beside his lot and it is easy to find on Wragby Road Lincoln. This is my fourth car from Paul Smith Car Sales. Paul only ever sells hand picked 3 years old or newer 1 owner vehicles, with very low mileage and full history. All vehicles are fully prepared inside and out to ensure his buyer buys an almost "˜as new' used vehicle. Minor marks are always professionally removed such as the "˜door to door' one on mine prior to sale. Paul's prices usually well undercut main dealers for comparable vehicles and his trade in values are usually fair, but this time I sold mine privately. I've had to use his 3 month warranty a couple of times, but there is never an issue, and many vehicles still have a longer manufacturers warranty remaining. A test drive is always available and there is no pressure to buy. An appointment out-of-hours is available if required.
